How do you analyze the recent wrongful convictions of Raffaele Sollecito and Amanda Knox in light of your understanding of the Italian psyche? To me, the “madonna-whore” complex has a lot to do with it as does the uniquely Italian fear of losing face. Would be interested in your views.
